Winter Emergency

A Season of Cold — and Compassion

For the first time in decades, Ramadan will fall in the heart of winter.

While we fast in comfort, millions of families across Gaza, Syria, Al-Quds, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Türkiye will fast through freezing nights, hunger, and loss.

In the Middle East and South Asia, winter is not just a season — it is a test of survival.

In northern Syria, snow falls on torn tents that were never meant to last.

In Lebanon, refugee camps are dark, cold, and dependent on plastic fires for warmth.

In Gaza, families displaced by bombardment sleep without heat, light, or security.

In Al-Quds, rising electricity prices leave homes unheated and unsafe.

In Pakistan’s high valleys, frost creeps through cracked walls and thin blankets.

Among Uyghur refugees in Türkiye, exiled families enter another winter far from home, praying for warmth they cannot afford.

Our Response

Humanity Increased is delivering emergency winter assistance to protect families from the cold and prepare them for Ramadan.

Each package provides warmth, food, and dignity — with all prices reflecting market conditions plus a 25 percent contingency to guarantee delivery despite inflation and fuel shortages.

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress in this world, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Judgment.”

— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih Muslim)
