Empowering Yemen’s Resilient Widows & Orphans
In the heart of the Al Mansoora District, Aden, conflict and economic instability have stolen so much from families who deserve security and opportunity. Humanity-Increased is working with parents to stand by these families, especially the widows and orphaned children who are facing the heaviest burden. We are driven by a shared belief: empowering these women and children is the most powerful form of support. This project provides tools and training to six orphaned families to help them start small sustainable businesses.
How We’re Changing Lives:
- Tools for Transformation: Imagine losing everything, then being given the chance to rebuild. We’re providing sewing machines, baking materials, and incense-making kits to help these families turn their skills into sustainable small businesses.
- Hands-on Training & Market Link: We’re offering hands-on training to teach technical skills and connect families with markets, ensuring their businesses are not only started but positioned to succeed.
- On-Going Support: By monitoring their progress and providing ongoing support, we’re ensuring these families have every chance to succeed, grow, and create a better future.

Our Impact
Widows who once had no options will have the confidence to become providers, protectors, and leaders for their families. Orphaned children, who’ve seen more hardship than any child should, now have the chance to dream of a future filled with opportunity and hope. This isn’t just about giving charity — it’s a promise that we’ll stand with them, and that they’re not alone.
