A Sacred Day Of Forgiveness, Reflection, And Giving
The 9th of Dhul Hijjah, The Day of Arafah, is the greatest day of the Islamic year. It is the day when millions of pilgrims stand on the plain of Arafat, praying, weeping, and seeking forgiveness. It is the day when Allah (SWT) descends to the lowest heavens and frees more souls from the Hellfire than on any other day.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“There is no day in which Allah frees a greater number of His slaves from the Hellfire than the Day of Arafah.”
(Muslim)
But this day is not just for those on Hajj. It is a gift to the entire Ummah. A day to fast, to raise your hands in prayer, to give generously, and to reconnect with your Creator.

Fasting on Arafah erases two years of sin, one before, one after.
