Qurbani-Increased: Your Sacrifice. Their Joy.

“Say, ‘Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.’”
— Surah Al-An’am (6:162)

What is Qurbani?

the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his unwavering submission to Allah’s command. When instructed to sacrifice his beloved son Ismail, he obeyed without hesitation. In his place, Allah sent a ram — symbolizing that the essence of Qurbani lies not in the act itself, but in sincerity and piety.

For Muslims who are financially able, giving Qurbani is a form of devotion — and according to the Hanafi madhab, an obligation. But for millions around the world, your Qurbani is more than worship. It is the only time they eat meat all year.

Humanity-Increased will be working in the following countries this Qurbani season

Where Your Qurbani Will Go in 2025

Gaza (Palestine)

Canned Bull Meat (India > Dubai > Gaza)
One of the only Muslim charities delivering canned halal Qurbani inside Gaza. Bulls are purchased and sacrificed in India during Eid, then cooked and sealed into cans in Dubai. This ensures a 3–4 year shelf life, allowing meat to reach Gaza months later without spoilage due to border delays. Meat will be distributed during the months following Eid to families under siege.

Yemen – $176

Sheep (150kg carcass)
After years of war and displacement, 17 million Yemenis are food insecure. Your Qurbani reaches internally displaced families in Aden — many of whom have not had access to meat in over a year.

Yemen Qurbani

Afghanistan – $129

Cow/Bull Share (180kg carcass)
Over 15 million Afghans face hunger. Your Qurbani is distributed in Kabul to orphans, widows, and families who have endured decades of war and economic hardship.

Afghanistan Qurbani

Rohingya (Bangladesh) – $125

Cow/Bull Share (90kg carcass)
Over 900,000 Rohingya refugees live in overcrowded camps in Cox’s Bazar. With limited aid and no legal status, these families survive on basic staples — your Qurbani brings them a rare and nourishing Eid.

Bangladesh – $107

Cow Share (Local Communities)

In rural Bangladesh, thousands of low-income families struggle to afford daily essentials, let alone meat. Your Qurbani provides a fresh, halal meal to families living in poverty — many of whom rely on this moment each year to enjoy a proper Eid.

Bangladesh Qurbani

Somalia – $100

Sheep (18kg carcass)

Somalia is suffering its worst drought in four decades. Over 6 million people face hunger. Your Qurbani reaches families in remote areas displaced by climate and conflict.

Sudan – $268

Cow Share (Local Communities)

With millions displaced due to war, your Qurbani supports families living in temporary shelters without food, income, or security.

Uganda –  $78(Sheep) / $546(Full Cow)

Sheep (18kg carcass)

Families in Mbale, Eastern Uganda — especially widows and orphans — receive meat through door-to-door distributions. Your Qurbani brings relief to homes affected by poverty and isolation.

Kenya – $45

Cow/Bull Share (12–15kg meat)

Over 4.5 million Kenyans are food insecure due to drought. Your Qurbani provides meat to underserved rural households where no other aid reaches.

Pakistan – $94

Sheep

Many families in Punjab live below the poverty line. Your Qurbani gives them the chance to celebrate Eid with dignity and joy — often the only time they eat meat all year.

Pakistan Qurbani

Uyghur Refugees (via Türkiye) – $621

Cow/Bull Share (160–180kg carcass)

Uyghur Muslims in exile face deep trauma and hunger. Your Qurbani reaches them in Türkiye, reminding them that the Ummah has not forgotten.

Can I choose where my Qurbani goes?

Yes, you may select a country from our Qurbani list. Allocations are based on humanitarian need and operational feasibility.
