The Syrian civil war, now in its second decade, has resulted in one of the largest refugee crises in recent history. Over 6.6 million Syrians have been displaced, with more than 3.6 million seeking refuge in Turkey. These refugees face numerous challenges, from integrating into a new society to accessing basic necessities like food and shelter. In response to their ongoing needs, especially in terms of food security, Humanity-Increased is launching a Food Pantry initiative tailored for Syrian refugees residing in Turkey.

Our initiative aims to provide sustainable, dignified support to Syrian refugees through the establishment of Food Pantries in communities with high refugee populations. This approach is not only about meeting immediate nutritional needs but also about empowering refugees to make choices for themselves and their families, respecting their dignity and autonomy.
Why a Food Pantry?
