Cataracts, one of the leading causes of blindness in the country, rob men and women of their vision, independence, and dignity.
For those already struggling to feed their families, the cost of surgery is an impossible burden. Many spend years in near blindness, dependent on others even for the simplest tasks.
At Humanity Increased, we believe no one should live without sight simply because they are poor.
Our Mission
Through our Restoring Sight, Restoring Hope program, we provide free cataract surgeries to the most vulnerable — elderly individuals, widows, orphans, and low-income families — ensuring they receive the care they need without financial hardship.
Each operation includes:
- Comprehensive eye screening and medical evaluation.
- Surgery performed by qualified ophthalmologists
- Provision of lenses, medication, and post-operative care
- Patient follow-up to ensure safe recovery and restored vision
