Bangladesh Flood Relief Efforts
The recent floods in Bangladesh have left millions stranded and struggling without basic necessities. Amidst this crisis, Humanity-Increased is on the ground, committed to providing essential support and relief.
Entire communities, including vulnerable children, have been displaced, with many seeking refuge in shelters and countless others stranded without food or clean water. Our relief efforts are concentrated in the hardest-hit districts — Feni, Cumilla, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Habiganj, Moulvibazar, Chittagong, and Khagrachari — where we are distributing warm meals, dry food packets, and clean drinking water.
On September 6th, 2024, we distributed 7,500 hot meals and water. However, the need continues to grow, and we require your support as we expand our response.
Beyond immediate relief, we are distributing dry rations and hygiene kits, addressing urgent needs while supporting long-term recovery.
Our Goals:
- Enhance Health & Well-being: Reduce waterborne diseases by providing clean water and nutritious food.
- Inspire Resilience: Address immediate needs while encouraging community rebuilding and hope.
- Strengthen Community Bonds: Encourage solidarity through collective relief efforts.
Despite challenges like submerged roads and limited communication, our team is dedicated to reaching those in greatest need. With your support, we can continue doing this.
